The KION Group forklifts are characterized by their high handling performance and low costs throughout the whole service life. Our brands are constantly working on continuing the reduction of fuel consumption by diesel or LPG forklifts to ensure that this remains the case.
Even now, the consumption values of our range of forklifts are the lowest in their respective classes. A forklift can work for at least 1 shift without being refueled/having a battery change. This is an important factor for the reduction of the TCO.
The determination of the TCO (total cost of ownership) not only considers the initial costs, but also all aspects of subsequent use (energy costs, repairs and maintenance).

Soot particle filter for an environmentally friendly workplace
In recent years, there has been a constant rise in the proportion of forklifts with diesel motors and soot particle filters. The KION Group brands are also on the cutting edge in this area and have been supplying their range of diesel forklifts with integrated soot particle filters, which absorb roughly 95 per cent of the soot particles, for many years.
When used with modern diesel motors, the soot emissions from the forklifts are significantly below the legally permitted limit and therefore make their contribution to an environmentally friendly work place.
