The space on the drivers seat is just as important for forklift drivers as an office environment is for a white-collar worker: it is a fully integrated work place that is available to him/her throughout their working hours.

The KION Group’s forklifts and warehouse trucks already occupy the top positions when it comes to driver ergonomics and occupational health and safety. The devices and their operating functions are constructed in line with the most recent technological and medical findings.

In addition, KION has been carrying out research for many years on how to improve ergonomics and safety for the forklift driver still further. Therefore, for example, smaller lifting mast profiles ensure that the field of vision towards the front is larger and that working with the forklift is safer.
