Baoli

KION Baoli (Jiangsu) Forklift Co. Ltd – a joint venture between the KION Group and a Chinese corporate group – develops, manufactures, sells and services forklift trucks. As the fourth brand in the KION Group, Baoli focuses on the economy segment worldwide, especially the fast-growing markets in Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

The KION Group owns 60 percent of KION Baoli, whose product portfolio comprises forklift trucks with internal combustion engines and electric motors and load capacities of between one and ten tonnes. The truck business contributed by the Chinese partner was launched in 2003. The joint venture commenced operations in January 2009 and employs some 500 people.

KION Baoli's headquarters and production facilities are located in Jingjiang in Jiangsu province (near Shanghai).
