KION Group has no need to increase capital

Wiesbaden, 3 December 2008. The KION Group GmbH has countered media speculation that the company might need to raise additional capital. Harald Pinger, the KION Group's CFO, said on Wednesday in Wiesbaden: 'We are not even considering it. Our Group is well prepared for the current macroeconomic situation.' He went on to say that KION has sound and long-term funding in place. KION's operational performance enables it to fulfill all its financial obligations, even in a more difficult economic environment.
