KION achieves record EcoVadis result in 2026, reaffirming and strengthening its Platinum medal first awarded in 2025.
KION once again received the highest possible Platinum medal from EcoVadis for its Group rating. With 91 out of 100 points, KION considerably improved the already strong result from the previous year. EcoVadis evaluates companies based on international corporate social responsibility standards in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

The improved score reflects colleagues' efforts across KION to strengthen ESG reporting, implement responsible business practices, and consistently align economic activities with social, environmental, and ethical standards. The Platinum medal places KION among the top one percent of the more than 150,000 companies rated by EcoVadis globally.
This outcome affirms KION’s ongoing progress in sustainability management and dedication to responsible business practices throughout the Group.

For companies being rated, EcoVadis Ratings provide a detailed assessment of your company's sustainability performance in areas such as Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The easy-to-read scorecards, with scores from 0 to 100 and earned achievements (medals and badges), highlight strengths and areas for improvement, enabling you to focus your sustainability efforts effectively. This helps you identify improvement areas and develop targeted action plans.
The medals awarded by EcoVadis are divided into four categories:
Platinum - Top 1% (99+ percentile)
Gold - Top 5% (95+ percentile)
Silver - Top 15% (85+ percentile)
Bronze - Top 35% (65+ percentile)
The percentile rank of a company is calculated at the time of scorecard publication and appears at the top of the scorecard. It compares a company’s performance with all assessed companies in our database over the previous 12 months. The percentile rank is calculated across all companies in all industries, not per industry.
