Moving the future together

2019-03-06 – At LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Europe’s leading trade show for intralogistics, the KION Group offered great insights in exciting innovations and products at the booths of STILL, Linde, Baoli and Dematic. The presented projects were derived from the central fields of action of the KION 2027 strategy: digitalization, automation and energy.

All four booths demonstrated the full power of innovation as well as the variety within the KION Group by showing their highlights. In particular, the live demonstrations were quite impressive. At Dematic, for example, the new pouch sorter on display was installed high above the heads of the visitors and attracted a lot of attention. Furthermore, the company, which celebrates its 200th anniversary this year, displayed the fully automated loading system PackMyRide, a true world premiere.

Thoughtful, uniting platforms instead of multiple stand-alone solutions: this is also the central approach at STILL. Under the motto "simply smart", the long-established company, which is based in Hamburg, presented its service performance and solution competence at various contact points. These range from driver assistance systems over tugger trains 4.0 to the digital platform nexxt, which collects the most important data and provides innovative solutions for diverse requirements.

Right at the next booth, Baoli invited the visitors to its world of experience. Celebrating its ten-year anniversary as part of the KION Group, the booth was further expanded compared to last year. Baoli used this successful kick-off to launch a dealership in Germany and introduce its attractive products at value segments.

Linde Material Handling proposed five different themes, manifesting the company’s full bandwidth, ranging from energy systems over digitalization, automation and security to intralogistics. Outstanding highlights were the Linde Roaster, which has been awarded the German Product Design Award, and the Virtual Showroom App, as well as the exhibition of the promising fuel cell vehicles.

Our performance at LogiMAT has confirmed that the KION Group is well prepared to continue to lead in shaping the future of intralogistics and will most certainly excite with efficient innovations at future trade shows.
