Automation
Our automation unit Anronaut has been developing innovative solutions in the field of autonomous transport systems and mobile robotics since 2002. Over decades, the technology has been continuously refined and now forms the core of powerful, reliable, and fully customized automation solutions — completely independent of vehicle manufacturers.
Through the combination of precise planning and simulation, intelligent Anronaut control software (TMS), vehicle-side automation, and seamless integration into the customer’s environment, tailor-made Autonomous Transport Vehicles (ATF) are created — ranging from very narrow aisle and omnidirectional trucks to high-lift and reach trucks. These systems are commissioned directly on site and deliver maximum efficiency, reliability, and long-term operational security.
In June 2024, Anronaut was acquired by Linde Material Handling Switzerland. This acquisition strengthens the mobile automation business within the KION Group and expands the portfolio with state-of-the-art automation technologies.
Our activities in Switzerland
At KION Switzerland, we operate multiple locations across the country to ensure we are always close to our customers.
KION Intralogistics Solutions Switzerland is the proud owner of Anronaut, a company that has been successfully automating diverse forklifts for decades. Since 2025, Linde MH in Dietlikon and STILL in Otelfingen each offer dedicated automation showrooms where customers can explore and experience a wide range of automation solutions for their own operations.
Linde Material Handling Switzerland is headquartered in Dietlikon, near Zurich, with an additional office in the French-speaking region of Chavornay. Linde also operates the country’s largest Used Truck and Rental Center in Oensingen, strategically located in the heart of Switzerland. From here, rental and used trucks can be delivered to customers anywhere in the country within the same day.
In the Italian-speaking region, Linde MH has worked exclusively for decades with Geniomeccanica, a highly respected dealer in Ticino.
STILL Switzerland is based in Otelfingen, close to Zurich, and maintains another office in the French-speaking region in Châtel-St-Denis.
Our service technicians are distributed across the entire country, ensuring fast and reliable on-site support whenever our customers need assistance.
Baoli Switzerland is also based in Otelfingen, with an additional presence in the French-speaking region in Châtel-St-Denis. Baoli forklifts in Switzerland are primarily distributed through our reliable nationwide dealer network.
