The North American headquarters of KION subsidiary Dematic is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan (USA). In 2021, the assembly of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) also moved here. Since then, the final assembly of the automated guided vehicles has taken place here. In addition, a spacious test area is located on site, where customer orders can be extensively simulated.
