What keeps operations running when peaks become the norm and processes need to be constantly readjusted? That is the central question at LogiMAT 2026, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management taking place this week in Stuttgart (Germany).

This is where industry insiders meet to exchange ideas as peers, while market leaders showcase their innovations. Our KION brands Dematic, Linde Material Handling, Baoli, and STILL are of course also there: In Halls 1 and 10, they underscore KION's ambition of becoming the Supply Chain Solutions Company – with connected systems, the management of complex processes, and the targeted use of AI.

Dematic Command Center

Automation solutions from Dematic

In the age of e-commerce, transparency, speed, scalability, long-term performance, and efficiency determine competitiveness. In many logistics centers, however, facilities, personnel, and processes are still controlled via separate systems – resulting in transparency gaps, delayed response times, and costly root cause analyses.

At LogiMAT, our Dematic brand demonstrates how intelligent software – the "Dematic Command Center" – allows the entire warehouse operation to be controlled and analyzed in real time: AI-powered, data-driven, and presented in a unified user interface. This gives users not only a complete overview of ongoing operations, but also valuable insights into the causes of performance deviations – the basis for fast, data-driven decisions.

"Innovation does not arise from individual technologies, but from a comprehensive understanding of actual operational processes," says René Sickler, Managing Director of Dematic for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland: "When we combine operational data, on-site observations, analyses, and customer experiences, we gain valuable insights. These enable better-designed solutions, higher efficiency, and high-performance systems in the long term."

Go Hands-Free at STILL

The launch of the new AXL iGo from STILL

In 2026, KION is focusing on integrated systems that coordinate complex processes, unlock data, and use resources intelligently. Each KION brand provides key components for this. At STILL, this includes the smart automation solution "STILL iGo", which, thanks to its modular and scalable design, covers the entire spectrum of automation.

However, the solution attracting the most attention at the STILL booth is the world's first market-ready and series-produced autonomous solution for goods receipt and dispatch. The dock area is characterized by time pressure, staff shortages, night work, and demanding operating conditions – from warm summer temperatures to cold winter temperatures. Furthermore, challenges such as limited space, varying trailer geometries, and high safety requirements must be mastered.

"Go hands-free" – this is how STILL describes the innovation, and at the trade fair booth it demonstrates how the receipt and dispatch of goods practically take care of themselves thanks to the new AXL iGo, leaving employees' hands and minds free for more value-adding tasks.

Holistic automation by Linde Material Handling

Holistic automation by Linde Material Handling

Our Linde Material Handling brand aims to provide the best possible answer to every individual customer requirement. In addition to its standardized automation portfolio, Linde MH showcases tailor-made solutions for specific industry requirements at LogiMAT – such as the beverage industry with its complex and heavy load carriers.

The solutions shown in a live demonstration at the trade fair booth are part of the individualized portfolio line Linde I-MATIC, which can also efficiently move heavy load carriers weighing over three tons – for a truly holistic automation approach.

"Linde MH is one of the few suppliers in the industry that masters the interplay of standardized and individual automation solutions as well as stationary applications," says Torsten Rochelmeyer, Senior Director Strategy and Solution portfolio at Linde MH.

Reliable solutions from Baoli

Discussion at the Baoli booth

Not every intralogistics solution needs to be highly automated – what matters is that it works in everyday operations. This is exactly where our Baoli brand comes in: with straightforward, reliable equipment for daily material handling. At the Stuttgart trade fair, Baoli is presenting, among other innovations, the new, ultra-compact KBP15E electric pallet truck, which is specially designed for light-duty applications and tight spaces and combines efficiency, maneuverability, and ease of use.

The Future of the Supply Chain

At LogiMAT, one thing becomes clear: Supply chains are not only becoming faster – they are becoming smarter and more connected. This is exactly what our KION brands are working on: Integrating systems, optimizing processes, and developing solutions that keep companies agile and able to act in a dynamic world.

In short: We are shaping world trade.
