New Roadshow: Linde MH (China) and Baoli Present a Wide Range of Intralogistics Solutions

Six towns in six regions in six months: KION brands Linde Material Handling (China) and Baoli have been showcasing their products and services to local visitors in a fun and entertaining way as part of a special roadshow.


If the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain: In line with this motto, “2021 KION is coming – a fun roadshow experience” visited the Chinese cities of Xi’an, Dongguan, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Suzhou, and Wenzhou in October 2021. It was the first time that the two KION brands Linde Material Handling (China) and Baoli had joined forces to take a large-scale roadshow across the country.

“This time, we decided to visit lots of different regions, above all to raise awareness of the KION brands in small and medium-sized cities, as there is great demand in these regions for products and solutions from our value and eco segments,” explains Fu Wen, Senior Marketing Manager at KION ITS China.

Fun Interactions Attract Much Interest

The spectators in attendance were treated to a great show featuring some amazing tricks like logistics professionals opening bottles with the forks of their forklift truck, playing basketball, and stacking glasses. Attendees also had the chance to test drive products on site, so they could experience the outstanding features and performance first-hand. The varied roadshow also included dance and sports displays, as well as other shows by young performers.

Daryl Lean, Vice President of Strategy, Marketing & Product Management Asia Pacific at KION Group, stresses how important this campaign was for developing the KION brands’ sales and service network in China: “We are working hard to develop a variety of unusual sales channels—both online and offline—so that customers can benefit from our environmentally friendly, efficient, and intelligent intralogistics solutions.”
