A compelling strategy at LogiMAT 2019

At this year's LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany, KION Group introduced a number of exciting innovations and products at the booths from its brands, STILL, Linde, Baoli and Dematic. Each brand within the Group demonstrated what innovation can deliver to customers. Their live demonstrations at Europe's leading industry trade show were quite impressive. Warehouse software specialist Dematic had its new pouch sorter on display, installed high above the crowds and attracting a lot of attention. In addition, the company, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year, premiered its fully automated loading system, 'PackMyRide'.

The focus was on thoughtful, unifying platforms instead of multiple stand-alone solutions. It clearly defined the approach taken by Hamburg-based STILL. "Simply smart" was the theme for the well-known company. It highlighted its service performance and solution capabilities at various contact points, which range from driver assistance systems over tugger trains 4.0 to the digital platform, 'nexxt', which collects the most critical data and provides innovative solutions for a variety of requirements.

Nearby, Baoli invited visitors to have a look at its 'world of experience'. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary as part of the KION Group, the booth had been expanded over the previous year. The Chinese-based company used the event to launch a dealership in Germany and introduce its attractive products in the value segments.

Linde Material Handling worked with five themes in Stuttgart, demonstrating the company’s broad reach within the industry, ranging from energy systems to digitalization, automation, security and intralogistics. Outstanding highlights were its Linde Roaster, which received the German Product Design Award, and its Virtual Showroom application as well as its display of promising fuel cell vehicles.

The Group's performance at LogiMAT 2019 confirmed that it is well on its way to shaping the future of intralogistics!
