Jinan (China)

Jinan is one of five major production sites of the KION Group in China. The plant, which was opened in 2021, manufactures industrial trucks under the KION brands Linde Material Handling and Baoli. The extensive factory site also houses a state-of-the-art center for research and development as well as a training center and administrative buildings.

In the first quarter of 2023, an additional plant is scheduled to come on stream at the KION site in Jinan, where supply chain products will be manufactured. Among other things, racks for the Dematic Multishuttle system, components for automated guided vehicles, and conveyor systems and belts will be built here in the future. In addition, a Tech Center is to be opened in Jinan where customers can discover the entire range of Dematic automation solutions.
